Terms of Service
Effective September 30, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and me, Shane Greenfield, for using Tranaxen: the app at beta.tranaxen.com, the admin site at admin.tranaxen.com, and this website. By using Tranaxen you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. How Tranaxen handles your information is covered in the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Tranaxen
You need to be at least 18 and using Tranaxen for your own real estate business, or for the business you work for with its permission. Each account is for one person.
2. The beta
Tranaxen is in a private beta and free while the beta runs. Features will change, some may be removed, and the service may have outages or end. I may limit or end beta access. If paid plans start, you'll see the price and terms before you're ever charged, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google or Microsoft account, and you're responsible for keeping those accounts secure and for what's done through your Tranaxen account. Let me know right away if you think someone else has gotten into it.
4. Your data stays yours
Your email, files, deals, contacts and everything else you bring into Tranaxen belong to you. You give me permission to access, store and process them only as needed to run Tranaxen for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete your account.
You're responsible for having the right to put information about other people into Tranaxen, like your clients and contacts, and for following the laws and rules that apply to your business, including privacy laws, your license requirements, your brokerage's policies, and record-keeping requirements.
5. Check everything that matters
Tranaxen sorts email and finds dates automatically, and automatic tools make mistakes. It can file an email under the wrong deal, miss one, or read a date wrong from an email or a contract. Templates estimate dates that may not match your contract or how your state counts days.
You're responsible for checking deadlines, dates and documents yourself, and for what you share with your clients. Tranaxen isn't legal advice, isn't a replacement for your brokerage's compliance system or a transaction coordinator, and isn't your system of record. Your email stays in your mailbox and your saved files stay in your own storage, and you should keep the records you're required to keep.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Tranaxen to break the law or anyone's rights, to send spam or unwanted email, or to get into anyone else's account or data. Don't try to break, overload, copy, scrape or reverse engineer Tranaxen, or get around its limits or security.
7. Other services
Tranaxen works with your Google, Microsoft and Dropbox accounts, and your use of those is covered by their own terms. I'm not responsible for those services, their outages, or changes they make. During the beta, for example, Google requires Gmail users to reconnect about once a week.
8. Ownership
Tranaxen, including its software, design, name and logo, is owned by me and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved. These terms let you use Tranaxen. They don't give you any other rights in it. If you send me feedback or ideas, I can use them without owing you anything.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Tranaxen and delete your account at any time in Settings. I can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if it's needed to protect Tranaxen or other people, or if I stop offering the service. Where it's reasonable, I'll give you notice first, so you have time to make sure your records are where you want them.
10. No warranty
Tranaxen is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. I don't promise that Tranaxen will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that it will file every email or find every date correctly.
11. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost commissions, missed deadlines, lost data or business interruption, arising from or related to Tranaxen, even if I was told they were possible. My total liability for any claim related to Tranaxen is limited to the greater of the amount you paid me for Tranaxen in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Your responsibility to me
If someone makes a claim against me because of information you put into Tranaxen or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about Tranaxen or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you and I both agree to those courts.
14. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. If I do, I'll change the date at the top, and for meaningful changes I'll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. Using Tranaxen after that means you accept the updated terms.
15. The rest
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Tranaxen. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of them right away doesn't mean giving it up. You can't transfer these terms to someone else without my agreement. I can transfer them if Tranaxen is sold or transferred.
